Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke has been a pole vaulter for over 20 years. She was born on the 22nd March 1989, at Newport Beach California. The Pole Jumper became popular in 2007 after she saw a photograph taken at her track event was posted aged 17. Instagram and Twitter has helped her grow a huge social media fan base. Stokke is an athlete and is on the same track similar to Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times and others noted that Stokke didn't seek out and encourage this kind of media attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society contrasted Stokke's circumstance with that of American female athletes in soccer, Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. They claimed that their sporting achievements were tarnished due to the sexualization and fetishization that was done to their images. In their Technology power and culture in the network society, David Rowe and Brett Hutchins compare Stokke with American soccer players Hope Solo and Alex Morgan who were fetishized. They also noted that social media can be offensive. Many others compared Brandi's bra-shy celebration with the FIFA World Cup Women's Final in 1999, during where she celebrated her win. Discussions about appearances overshadowed women's sporting accomplishments. An online journalist took photos of Stokke's performance in New York, early in 2007. With Leather, an online magazine for sports with lots of male fans commented about Stokke's beauty during the month of May. The article was titled Pole Vaulting: Sexy and Barely Legal. Matt Ufford, the owner of the website which the photo was published on was threatened with legal action by the photographer if the image were not taken down. The article did however receive lots of interest from other sites and the picture was widely shared. A website dedicated to Stokke quickly appeared with photos of her in the vault, after these images spread through social media, internet fan forums, they gained thousands of followers. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. Her high school graduation was to be completed in Florida. It was her first stage in her career when she finished high school. Alyce has a sibling who is a highly respected instructor. The sister of her is an instructor at a university and is supported by her family. Alyce resides in Texas with her parents, they both are employed by the U.S. Army. The family celebrated the 92nd birthday party of their father three years in the past. Alyce took to social media to share the most beautiful photo of her daughter, and to recognize the contributions her father made for the U.S. Army. The daughter is focused on her studies and has excelled in the National merit scholarship of the University. In 2022, she celebrated her 22nd birthday.
