Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, CA on 19 October 1979. She is a American sportscaster journalist documentary filmmaker and television host. Born on October 19 1979, in Santa Clara County of California Angela Sun is an Award-Winning Journalist, actor and producer. She earned a bachelor's in sociology and communications at the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing. She participated in various Pro-Am Surf contests that led to sponsorship deals with brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The fame that she earned from her participation in these events that propelled Sun into the realm of entertainment. In the following years, she was an actress, sportscaster, investigative filmmaker, journalist and reporter. Sun is a former anchor that has been on many different news networks. She was also the Fox Sports Net Correspondent. She hosted American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute during the year 2014. She is the only Asian-American to appear in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has worked in numerous films and her abilities as an actress have been acknowledged and appreciated. Her roles include Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun, who wrote and produced her documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch regarding ocean plastic pollution and its environmental effects in 2014, has released the feature length film.
