Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Her most recognizable part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she's directed, produced and appeared in her own movies Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as the bride in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson born 8 January 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle Benson is her younger artist sister. Benson was brought up in a Reform Synagogue by the Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Benson has appeared in numerous movies and TV shows since Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar.
