Wilson was hired by WWE in 2001, when the company acquired WCW. Wilson's athleticism helped make her an ideal fit for WWE in one of sports and entertainment's most thrilling times. Wilson was a pivotal figure for WCW when it was swept into WWE because of her association with Stacy Keibler (her acquaintance and occasionally adversaries). Wilson joined in the WWE women's division after the invasion by WCW. Her rivalries included Keibler Sable Melina. The family of her mother was also in danger when she took on Dawn Marie for their honor.
