Kari Sam Wuhrer born on April 28, 1968, is an American singer and actress. Wuhrer began her career as an teen and is most well known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and also as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a car salesman.
