A.J. Cook A.J. Cook, A.J. Cook, a Canadian actor best known for his portrayal of Jennifer Jareau (JJ) in The Criminal Minds as well as The Virgin Suicides in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He is also known for other parts. Cook's credits in television includes Dead Like Me and Tru Calling. Other TV shows include Goosebumps, Elvis Meets Nixon, In His Father's Shoes, Laserhawk, Island Heat, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, Higher Ground, Bluemoon, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, PSI Factor. Cook has also appeared in feature films Blood Suckers, Final Destination II, The House Next Door, Out Cold, Ripper, The Virgin Suicides, Kisses and The Tinker. Cook was raised by Mike Cook who was a teacher, and Sandra Cook as psychiatrist in Whitby. She grew up along with her three other siblings Angela, Nathan and Paul. They were raised as Mormon or a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and only does roles that are not in conflict with her beliefs and principles in the Mormon Church. The dance, tap and jazz classes as a young child. However, it wasn't until she reached 17 when she started acting. She'd competed in numerous dance competitions. The film Dirty Dancing starring Patrick Swayze encouraged her to become an actor. Cook wed her boyfriend Nathan Andersen in August 2001. The couple first met Nathan Andersen at Utah Valley University and took a class on film. The couple has their son Mekhai Allan Andersen, born on the 13th of September in 2008. The couple currently reside in Los Angeles
